At the packed Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, Bela Fleck and his band put on a 90-minute show that felt like a half-hour. The band, very tight and funny, poked fun at themselves throughout the performance.
Their set included a mix of old and new songs, along with some covers. Bela's voice, hitting all the high notes and carrying for a minute at a time, impressed me more than ever. Isaac's music attracts a wide range of ages, with older and very young fans filling the room.
